God is Awesome

I just wanted to write this to say how awesome God truly is. I have a husband who loves me, a daughter and 2 step-children that I adore, a wonderful family, and a wonderful church family. God has blessed me with so much in my life and I thank Him for everything. He has had His hand upon my life even when I wasn't following Him. He is such a loving and forgiving God. It really breaks my heart when people can't see that about Him. When they are so blinded and deceived that they continue to live their lives with no one to truly lean on. I can't imagine my life without Him. I often watch people make decisions on a whim, with no prayer involved and wonder how they do it. I couldn't and wouldn't do that myself. I need the Lord in my life. I am truly dependent on Him for all things in my life. I even depend on Him to help me get through the day at work. I rely on Him to guide my hands and direct me in different procedures throughout my day. There is no one like the Lord Jesus Christ. He is truly my first love.

Finding Lost Relatives Via Internet

I couldn't believe it when I opened my myspace account the other day and found a message from a cousin that I haven't seen or talked to in over 25 years. I was completely blown away and pleasantly surprised at the same time. She is actually my Grandma Em's cousin. She is the same age as my mom and I used to be best friends with her sister Penny. She lives in PA and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. She is doing well. I can't wait to tell mom, dad, and Aunt Cookie that she contacted me. I think they will be excited. It is amazing how you can get connected with people through this thing we call the internet. For along time I have only seen the bad things that it has caused but as of Saturday I can now see the good that can come of it. She is going to be emailing me with her address. She would like me to send her some pictures so she can complete the "Ward" family album she has been working on. So if I have any relatives that read this I could use some pics to send her. Thanks.
